NewsKlaxons star breaks legKlaxons have cancelled their tour of Australia, as Jamie Reynolds has broken his leg. The affable frontman suffered the break when he jumped off stage at the Garden Nef Festival in France at the weekend. The band were due to begin their Australian tour on August 2, but are now hoping to resume their dates on August 11 at Summersonic in Japan. Reynolds posted a bulletin on Myspace, apologising to disappointed fans and promising he would use his "horizontal" time to work on new material. Kurt Cobain biopic features REM, Iggy Pop The soundtrack to the film 'Kurt Cobain About A Son' will feature tracks from REM, Iggy Pop and David Bowie as well as several other bands that reportedly influenced the Nirvana frontman. The soundtrack, due out in the US on September 11 via Barsuk, will also include a new song by Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard, who also composed an original score for the film along with producer Steve Fisk. Although the soundtrack will not feature any songs from Nirvana, it will feature excerpts of audio-taped interviews with Cobain. The film, due out in late 2007, features several rare interviews with the singer, as well as footage of sites in the Pacific Northwest that played a major role in his life. The tracklisting is: Steve Fisk and Benjamin Gibbard - 'Overture' Never Intended (interview clip) Arlo Guthrie - 'Motorcycle Song' The Melvins - 'Eye Flys' Punk Rock (interview clip) Bad Brains - 'Banned In D.C.'
